Also who's into PvP, I suggest doing PvP night some nights too, less formal of course, but if those into PvP are down, I'd love to get groups together to queue together and play over vent. Much more Enjoyable.
Yes I do hope that we will start at least a regular group of 8 or perhaps 16. For the majority of you who are approaching 50 start running the heroic version of things while you wait and get some pvp going on
I don't think the idea is to restrict membership to only current USDN community folks, but obviously Turk can comment further.
I'm just happy to be enjoying the game right now. :) I do look forward to actually playing with some of you. I haven't actually seen anyone in USDN yet, in-game.
I saw Turk once Randomly, and I saw Malek (or however you spell his name in a PvP instance once, I was like ohh hey USDN Tag.) As I was killing a member of Choosen.
Speaking of Choosen, I see them in PvP every so often, but they have one guy (a Smuggler) all decked out in Champion Gear+ and wrecks up the place. He's hard to kill right now, but I've also seen a Sage named Gaso or something like that more my level, I've managed to kill a few times. Down with Choosen!
Sounds like Brum. Chosen is kill on site. With fun bias.
Recruiting: Yes! But we are looking for a specific type of player. One that meshes well, one that understands the difference between USDN and SWTORUSDN. And they need to be fit the typical usdn "build"
Got someone you think cuts the mustard? Myself, Shadow and Akira can invite them for you.
Why is it the last few levels 45-50 seems to feel like such a painful grind! 30-40 were good, 40-45 not bad, now at 46 I feel the burn. like a long distance runner.
Bump. Any further plans to have regular nights for running content? I think the number of 50s is to the point that something more formal could come into place.
I know I'm not there yet, but I'm not the only one wondering.
I'm not sure we have 10 people yet. (Since you really need 15 consistent folks to make sure you always have 10).
But, does other end-game sorta content exist in the 5 man range? Are we running that regularly? Is that a good way to gear up for the 10 mans?
I'm coming from WoW here and haven't read about the Swtor end game. Our guilds always hammered on the 5 man stuff and the heroic 5 mans for quite awhile before starting to lay into the raid content.
I know we can pick up and do 5-mans randomly. I just always found some kind of structure ensures people actually log in and are ready to go.
(Also, if others don't agree with anything I'm saying, tell me to be quiet. I'm still just a level 34, so I don't really know. Just got the impression from chatting with others in vent and online that they want to do more dungeons . . . so I thought I'd make noise here.)
I think the operations content is for 8 or 16 players, so 8 may be doable. But, I agree we probably need more time to gear up on the 4 man heroics etc. However, I am like you Etter, and don't really know much about the end game content.
Still, either way, it seems like a good idea to pick a couple of nights a week and start to get people on at the same time. Even if we split up into 4 man groups, we can start to form a habit...
I vote for Monday and Tuesday nights. Saturday might work sometimes. I'm fairly flexible though as long as it isn't more than a few hours any particular night.
