Hi everyone playing SWTOR!

We're going to work on Eternity Vault tuesday night. Starting time is 8:15.
The expectation is to go until about 11:00.

If you can make it, please post here or let me know and I will update the signup list here.
If there are more folks than we can take in, we'll try and get you another time but you can also check-in and see if someone doesn't show.

Please let me know if you need any blue stim packs for your class (that persist past death) I can easily send you some for the op.
We're going to be doing normal mode so I wouldn't worry too much about your gear just yet.

Please make sure you are online, on time, and already on the fleet if possible.

If it works as they intend it to (and we all know how rare that is) I think this would be pretty awesome. Particularly, being able to claim a keep in the name of WorthIt or USDN or DubStepSucks or whatever stupid guild name we go by would be pretty damn cool.

This Thursday: +10 Datacron Run for SWTOR Guild

Hey, this Thursday @ 9:00 we're going to do a run for the datacron that gives you +10 to all stats.

You can see it is quite an involved adventure. :) Do you NEED this datacron? Probably not. But will it be a fun guild event? You betchya.

So meet up on Darth Reaper and Ventrilo @ 9:00 on Thursday if you are interested. We can pretty much do this with however many show up.

THE ONLY THING YOU NEED TO DO BEFORE:

Get a MGGS item from Alderann. You can purchase it from the vendor Lain-Ricie which is located at 1880,1103. Here's a pic I made to help you find him:

Grabbing that should take you 10-15 minutes from the fleet. Doing so will save us some time on Thursday.

After this is done (it shouldn't be long) hopefully we can split up into a couple of HM runs to start getting folks geared up.

Hope to see a bunch of you level 50's on on Thursday, especially if you haven't been on much lately. :)

Google Privacy Policy?

I am admittedly a huge google fan, chug all the kool-aid, use all the products, have faith that they fuck me over, etc. I'm not at all concerned about the new privacy policy but I realize that I'm probably skewed in this by my google love. Anybody have some real concerns over the changes that I'm probably ignoring?

So one of my favorites game of all time was this squad based MMORTS, Shattered Galaxy. You could deploy 6 units at a time in a battle, with something like 30 other commanders with you all working toward some objectives. Battles were waged over territories on a global map between 3 factions, with rewards for holding territory, and special rewards for holding the central territory. It was awesome.

Anyways, anyone else played any good MMORTS? There's a new End Of Nations in development that looks like an SG clone, despite their rhetoric of being "revolutionary, bringing RTS and MMO together". I signed up for the beta but jw if there are other good ones out there.

For those of you who care about Star Trek The Next Generation.... Clark had posted awhile ago about TNG being remastered for a BluRay release in Full 1080p.

Well some good news for you, 3 Episodes have been leaked on the scene in 720p and full 1080p.

Season 5 Episode 22: Inner Light
(If Memory serves me right)

Remote Applications

Here's another tech question.

Client has Simply Accounting on the Remote Desktop Server. I have the RemoteApp manager create the connection, and it runs and connects from the client desktop. Everything runs great, but when I click on the "Open in Excel" button, it tries to open Excel on the terminal server, where there is no Excel.

Does anyone know a way around this? All the desktops have Word 2010 Home and Business installed.

For now, they have to save the .xls file and then go to the mapped drive and open it manually.
